Agricultural clients of a Shrewsbury accountancy firm had the chance to meet the team in a more familiar setting – Minsterley Show.
Dyke Yaxley Chartered Accountants, in Old Potts Way, hosted a marquee with solicitors FBC Manby Bowdler and property and land agents Carter Jonas on the showground itself.
Mark Griffiths, for the agricultural team, said: “We wanted to give our clients the opportunity to call in and see us while they were visiting the show.
“It was great to see them in a setting which was more familiar to them for a change rather than in our offices, and everyone really enjoyed the day.”
Other members of the Dyke Yaxley agricultural team were also on site, including Les Cox and Roy Reeves.
And it was a real family affair as the team were joined by daughters Georgina Cox and Sophie Griffiths, and even Honey the Spaniel.
“We’ve been hosting our hospitality marquee at the show for the past five years, and it’s always very popular with clients who are pleased to see us playing an active part in the agricultural community, ” said Mark.
Minsterley Show is Shropshire’s oldest and most prestigious one-day agricultural show and has been at the heart of the countryside for over 135 years.
As well as its team of agricultural experts, Dyke Yaxley has teams that specialise in a wide range of other industries including medical, payroll, hotels and catering, retail, leisure, construction, solicitors, and charities/ not-for-profit companies.
