Brought to you by Telford & Wrekin Council’s Job Box team, the Telford Skills Show returned to the Telford International Centre on Thursday 14 March.
Open to all ages, it’s the largest event of its kind this side of the NEC in Birmingham, and has previously attracted circa 3300 delegates and 70+ employers and aims to promote local apprenticeship, employment and training opportunities to people across Telford, Shropshire and the West Midlands.
There were opportunities for hands-on activities delivered by employers (incl. DY!) and training providers so attendees get a better understanding of the roles available. Attendees were able to speak to employers that may be in a business sector they are interested in going into.
Employees were able to offer support and advise attendees about options which are available, and help them make that all important decision about their first career or even a change in career.
