DY Compensation and Benefits
Every employee will be issued with their own, individual Contract of Employment on the first day of their employment, outlining the terms and conditions of their employment with the Company.
Please find noted below at a glance the comprehensive and full range of benefits that are available from the Company. These are reviewed at least on an annual basis.
Salary
Every employee will have a salary, relevant to their role, level, based on qualifications and experience, to be in line with Company banding and benchmarking levels.
Salaries are reviewed annually.
Holidays
All new employees will commence their employment with a holiday entitlement of 30 days which includes Bank Holidays. This increases by 1 day for every 2 years of employment up to a maximum entitlement of 34 days per year.
Pensions
All employees will automatically be enrolled into the Company pension scheme after 3 months employment. Employer contributions will be 4% (by way of salary sacrifice unless otherwise requested) and employee contributions will be 5%.

In order to assist our employees with obtaining a better work-life balance and individual personal circumstances, the Company has and always will support homeworking in appropriate circumstances.
Bonus Schemes
At DY we encourage all our employees to actively promote the Company to friends, family, associates or business contacts.
We also have in place a non-contractual, discretionary bonus scheme which is currently based on the Company achieving its annual stretch fee target.
Training & Development
We are committed to developing the skills of our employees. Employees joining us at trainee level or part way through, will have a clear pathway and a fully funded training programme mapped out for their career progression.
Affiliation Fees
Once qualified, the Company pay for all annual affiliation fees to the relevant authorised bodies for AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA and any other relevant qualifications.
Death in Service
On appointment, all employees are eligible for this benefit. In the event of the employee losing their life during their employment with the Company, the entitlement pays 2 times the employees annually salary and is reviewed annually.
Cycle to Work Scheme
The Company offer a Cycle to Work Scheme in order to promote healthier journeys to work and to reduce environmental pollution. This allows employers to loan cycles and cyclists’ safety equipment to employees as a tax-free benefit.
Child Care Nursery Voucher
DY support the Governments Tax- Free Childcare scheme which offers up to £2000 (or up to £4000 where a child is classed as having a disability) a year per child, towards child care costs, including nursery, childminder and wraparound care.
Long Service Awards & Milestones
As a Company we’re really proud of the amount of employees who dedicate a large part, if not all of their careers to DY. As a thank you we like to recognise our employees who reach, 25, 30 and 40 years’ service with us, those that retire from the Company and important birthdays of 18, 21, 30, 40, 50 and 60.
Fruit & beverages
Free milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and sugar is provided for all employees.
In the same way a weekly, seasonal delivery of fruit is provided and available for all in the staff canteen.
Car Parking
Dyke Yaxley are able to offer to purchase an annual car parking pass on our employee’s behalf from an agreed provider, with the annual amount deducted as a salary sacrifice on a monthly basis
CSR
DY take our commitment to our employees, the environment and local community very seriously. We continuously look at ways of improving our CSR and have regular activities to raise funds for our nominated charities and initiatives on working with and in the local community.
