Dyke Yaxley tax expert took part in a high-tech semimar to dissect the Government’s latest Budget announcements.
Dyke Yaxley’s Senior Tax Planner Tony Elliott joined a lively panel of specialists from the Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre for the interactive event.
Held in the state-of-the-art 1st Visualisation Centre at Wolverhampton University, the seminar gave local companies the opportunity to watch the Chancellor’s Statement live.
Tony said: “It was a great opportunity to be part of a panel of specialists and to be able to respond immediately to each announcement as it happened.
“As well as watching the Chancellor’s speech, we also held a live panel discussion to explore how the key points could impact on local businesses, and a question and answer session.
“Local companies made the most of the opportunity to tap into expert analysis and to share their thoughts on the new measures, and discussed the way the announcements would reach out across the wider West Midlands.”
Tony was joined on the panel by economist Paul Forest from the West Midlands Economic Forum, Charles Hanmer (Chairman of the West Midlands Manufacturing Club), Stuart Farquhar (University of Wolverhampton) and Professor Michael Haynes.
