More than 70 guests from Shropshire businesses attended our breakfast briefing detailing the highs and lows of the latest Budget announcements, and took place at Henry Tudor House – Special thanks to Graham Jenkins and his staff who were of great help on the day.
Tax experts Pam Mason and Tony Elliott from our tax planning team presented a detailed analysis of The Chancellor’s announcements and took questions from guests.
Tony said: “The breakfast event was extremely popular and we’ve had an excellent response from our guests.
“Our Budget Briefing is now becoming a much-anticipated annual event which local businesses are keen to attend, and particularly this year, with all the controversy surrounding the latest announcements, there was plenty to talk about.”
Pam said delegates were always very interested to take the opportunity to join in with the interactive session, and to ask the experts direct questions about how the Budget would affect their individual circumstances.
“The purpose of the briefing is to give our take on the Chancellor’s announcements and outline the key implications for local people and their businesses.
“Every year we hold these sessions there seems to be an increase in the level of interest, so we’re already planning a similar event to be held in the future.”
Places at the Budget Briefings are free, but strictly limited in order to give delegates the chance to get directly involved in the discussions.
