Last year, a spirited team of DY employees conquered the hills of Shrewsbury in the annual 10K race. This year, we decided to go bigger and better—and we delivered!
We opened the event to not only DY employees but also their family members and colleagues from neighbouring businesses in our Shrewsbury office space. The result? An even larger and more enthusiastic group ready to take on the Shrewsbury 10K challenge.
Our runners were well-prepared, thanks to their regular training with the DY run club. Meeting every Wednesday evening for a steady 5-6K run, the club helped build stamina and camaraderie, ensuring their hard work and dedication paid off on race day.
The collective effort and determination were nothing short of inspiring – a huge congratulations to everyone who participated and a special shout-out to DY employee Sam Holwill, who finished in an impressive 24th place with a stellar time of 38:16.
Kudos to all our runners for their outstanding performances. Your dedication and enthusiasm showcase the very best of the DY community. Here’s to many more successful races and shared victories in the future!
