Newly-qualified accounts clerk impressed Dyke Yaxley so much on a year-long placement that we’ve taken her on full time.
Stephanie Wright, from Four Crosses, spent 12 months with Dyke Yaxley Chartered Accountants, and now she has joined the corporate team on a permanent contract.
Managing director, Laurie Riley, said: “We were extremely impressed with Stephanie’s work during her initial placement with us, and when that time was over, we decided to offer her a job.
“She will be working with our corporate team who are all keen to share their wide-ranging experience and knowledge, and we are looking forward to helping Stephanie to develop her skills still further.”
Stephanie studied at Aberystwyth University, and has also had short-term work experience stints at two other accountancy firms in Shropshire.
“I’m very grateful that Dyke Yaxley have shown such faith in me and I am now working hard to become a fully-qualified chartered accountant,” she said.
“I am very keen to learn and I am committed to working to the highest standard I can achieve in order to build strong client relationships and to become an integral part of the team.”
Dyke Yaxley has a long history of supporting trainees and appointing apprentices – many have worked their way through the company to hold senior, pivotal positions.
In all, 25 of Dyke Yaxley’s staff started as trainees and worked their way up – seven going right through to director level.
We currently have five staff at apprentice level and another five taking exams towards becoming qualified accountants.
