A Shropshire accountant who returned to her roots has been promoted thanks to her dedication and commitment.
Stacey Lea, from Wem, originally began her accountancy career with Dyke Yaxley Chartered Accountants, in Old Potts Way, in Shrewsbury.
She moved away as her husband was in the armed forces, but rejoined the firm just under 12 months ago.
And now, she has been promoted to the role of Corporate Manager, following an internal restructure.
“I’m absolutely delighted to have been given this new challenge, and I’m really looking forward to stepping up to take more responsibility within the Dyke Yaxley team,” said Stacey.
“I am originally from Wem, and was a pupil at Adams School in the town, so it was great to return to live in the county just a few miles from where I grew up.
“My new promotion is a great opportunity to become more involved in the future development of our customer strategies and I’m sure it will be a busy but interesting role to take up.”
Managing Director, Helen Thomas, said Stacey’s promotion was thanks to her dedication to her work since she returned to Dyke Yaxley.
“We’ve been very impressed with Stacey’s efforts since she came back to us last year, and the promotion is a direct result of the work and hours she has put in.
“We’re very pleased she has accepted the challenge and we’re very keen to see the results she’ll deliver.
