We’re launching a brand new helpdesk to help local businesses learn more about the very latest accounting software.
Our Xero Team will host a launch event at our offices in Shrewsbury on Tuesday 12 July from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm. The aim is to introduce businesses to the Xero software – a cloud-based accounting system that allows company owners to run their business finances on the go from anywhere, anytime, using any electronic device.
Director Mark Bramall said: “Our Xero Lab launch event is open to both existing clients and non-clients, and our Xero Team will be demonstrating some of the key features of the software, and sharing their top tips.
“It’s a great opportunity for local businesses to join our team for an interactive hands-on event that will help them really get to grips with the possibilities the new software packages create.”
The session will be run by Sarah Hartshorn, Sophie Leddington and Amy Watson, who are our Xero champions – and following the initial launch, they will run the Xero Lab drop-in helpdesk every second Tuesday and every last Thursday each month.
Xero allows businesses to raise invoices, track expenses and manage their finances in real time and on-the-go. It also helps businesses to work more closely with their accountants who can also access the financial information online to give real-time help and advice.
Mark said: “Dyke Yaxley has now been appointed as a Xero Gold Partner and we already have over 100 clients working with the Xero software, which is proving extremely popular.
“As well as sharing product knowledge, we can also help businesses to transfer from their existing accounting systems, set-up their new Xero operating systems, and offer training and ongoing support.
“Xero offers a brand new safe and secure accounting system and this is a great opportunity for Shropshire businesses to learn more about the software and its capabilities.”
