Before moving to Xero Nichola had previously used Sage to prepare the accounts for the Country Estate. Nichola wanted an accounting solution that would support the way she and the business work regardless of location or type of computer.

“Sage is a very powerful program but I found it to be slow over a server connection and data corruption seemed to be a big problem, meaning that I couldn’t work effectively and efficiently. When there was a data corruption the program would have to be rebuilt by Sage Support and I wouldn’t be able to use our Sage system for a few days, naturally this caused finance down time and the risk of inaccurate data.”
