Sarah Hartshorn

Associate

Sarah brings a wealth of experience in both accountancy and education. She began her career as an accountant before transitioning to a Lecturer in Accounts and Education at Shrewsbury College. Her diverse professional background also includes teaching business in Zambia and working as an accountant in the ski industry.

In 2016, Sarah joined Dyke Yaxley as a Business Advisory Specialist. She was promoted to Associate in May 2024. In this role, she is responsible for identifying business opportunities, leading strategic initiatives, and ensuring their successful execution.

Sarah’s expertise spans several key areas:

  • Corporate Finance: Identifying opportunities, facilitating business sales and acquisitions, conducting due diligence, performing business valuations, developing business strategies, forecasting, and raising finance.

  • Cloud Accounting: Reviewing and implementing accounting systems to improve efficiency.

  • Management Accounts: Preparing and finalising comprehensive management accounts.
